We went to pick Sass up nice and early Saturday morning. The week before had been an uncertain time as the 'breeder' wasn't returning my calls and I was starting to worry that the puppy we had been looking forward to wouldn't actually be coming home with us. As it turns out, the puppy we were expecting didn't come home with us but that is a story for another time.
We came home with Sass, a Bullmastiff x Ridgeback.
She behaved beautifully for the 2.5 hour car journey to our house and even practiced a few yoga moves as we pulled into the driveway.
Her first night away from her litter mates was hard for her....and us! She hardly slept and cried most of the night, keeping Taj awake and resulting in a very tired household for the remainder of the weekend.
